  • Nickel and Dimed feeling - There is a free plan, but then you have to 'upgrade' to all of the different hubs, which kind of irritates me. I'd rather just say "It's All One Price" and call it good.

  • Whether you add a contact, lead, company or website to HubSpot CRM, it is called a contact; it doesn’t differentiate between leads and contacts. If any of these contacts have multiple email addresses, you will have to manually add them. You cannot use the import feature.

  • Analytics are not available for Free and Sales Hub™ Starter plans

TLDR:
We no longer need, can afford, or intend to use Hubspot services. We have given due notice of 30 days to end the contract. Hubspot is refusing to let us go (despite us not wanting to use their services anymore). A two-year contract is an anchor that will sink many ships.

If you are planning to start with customer relationship management for the first time, HubSpot CRM could be an excellent choice as it is easy to set up and use. Created specifically for small and mid-sized businesses, its tools are designed to solve their unique challenges like small team sizes and limited resources.

The HubSpot Free plan likely has enough tools to get you started. As you get more comfortable and proficient in using CRM, you can add tools as you need them or move to other paid tiers as required.

Wow, HubSpot is pretty robust. I love all of the integrations available in the marketplace. HOWEVER, in my opinion, I am annoyed with feeling "nickeled and dimed". I understand that not every business needs all of the features and maybe an ala-carte version would be cool, BUT, when your minimum plan is $20 per hub and your next upgrade level is $800/month, it feels really out of reach for scaling business owners. Imagine having all 6 hubs at $800/each. AND the complaints about being stuck in a 2 year contract would keep me looking elsewhere.

I'd rather keep my CRM in You Can Automate.
